Two of our core values are listening to our patients and always respecting our patients time.
We have historically attempted to survey every patient after their office visit to ask how we are doing with regards to several critical measures.
In April we added an on-line patient satisfaction survey that has been well received and allows us to gather more information about your impressions and ideas regarding our office.
One question we track carefully is “How long did you have to wait past your scheduled appointment?”
Above are the results from the last two weeks of April. While we were pleased that over 80% of our patients are seen within 5 minutes of their scheduled appointment time we continue to work to refine our processes to begin your next eye exam visit on-time.
Of course, we often see eye emergencies, such as foreign objects in the eye or new flashes and floaters in the vision. While these can disrupt our daily schedule most of our patients say they don’t mind a short wait to allow us to attend to an ocular emergency as long they are informed.
