Who Do You Trust For Eye Care Recommendations?
It seems obvious from the first sentence that as a contact lenses wearer Walmart wants you to only consider cost when obtaining your contact lens solutions. Do they offer arguments based upon safety, comfort or clarity of sight. No, cost is the only issue they would like you to consider when it comes to your eyes.
By stating that “Alternative products include . . . .” they would like you to believe that all contact lens solutions are the same, thus a commodity. But again do they offer any clinical studies on clinical safety, comfort or clarity of sight?
By pulling ClearClear off of their shelves and denying consumers the opportunity to select this excellent product for their eyes I think Walmart has crossed the line of a retailer and now is attempting to replace eye doctors. It used to be the doctor would recommend the best and most appropriate product and the retailer would sell this product at a reasonable price.
At Integrated Eyecare we are greatly concerned about eye health, clarity of sight and vision performance. Our clinical experience and the literature in the field strongly suggests that not all contact lenses solutions are equal, in fact far from it! And there is now a common understanding that many contact lens problems, such as red, irritated eyes and reduced wearing time of contacts, are actually caused by the solutions or the inappropriate use of contact lens solutions.
At Integrated Eyecare we are focused on you to give you the best in sight while protecting the health of your eyes, now and into the future. Your eyes and vision are not a commodity, so when we make a recommendation for your eyes it is based upon science, clinical studies and experience.

I love clear care and get great results with this product…. Would not consider using anything else at this time….
Thank you for bringing this to everyone’s attention. I am so tired of people cutting every corner for the lowest possible priced eye care, with so little regard for their only pair of eyes.
Nice article. Agreed. Unreal.
Good point about Walmart blurring the line between retailer and prescriber, however I think that line gets blurred by customers themselves as well. People need to pay more attention to the products they buy in terms of their health, the extra money spent is repaid a million times over when they don’t need medical care to fix the problems that could arise with a cheap solution.
